The MAIS network of 120 schools currently boasts an enrollment of over 40,000 students, and these schools directly employ over 6,000 citizens and provide a customer base for countless other businesses.
The community of member schools stretches across Mississippi and into Arkansas, Louisiana, and Tennessee. Staff and students build relationships through athletic and academic competitions. MAIS offers support and encouragement to administrators, teachers, and coaches through conferences and seminars throughout the year. New administrators are offered coaching and specific training through the MAIS Summer Leadership Institute. MAIS offers opportunities for professional development to school administrators, faculty, and staff at various times throughout the year.
GCA has enrichment classes in archery, music, art, PE, library, and computer skills to enhance the academic program. The students can participate in competitions through the MAIS network.
